Founder and Managing Director, Neuza is a Community Art Educator based in Chester.
Holds a MA in Architecture (Thesis: Between music and Architecture, Reason and Metaphor), a MA in Creative Practices in Education (Architecture Education in a Community Context) and currently undertaking a Doctorate at the University of Chester (Architecture as a learning agent).
She has won several awards in her field including Storyhouse Sponsorship Award, Susan M Chance Award: Innovation in Education 2020 and an honourable mention by Future Architecture as a transformative project and idea for the future of architecture.
Neuza is also a Visiting Lecturer of Interior Design (BA) and Creative Practices in Education (MA) at the University of Chester, UK.

Creative Director of kitaya and our Portuguese representative, Clara studied Graphic Design in IADE, in Lisbon, and Multimedia Art in Salzburg (Erasmus Programme).
Has worked in several design studios in Lisbon, working in global design projects and the pharmaceutical industry.
She founded Bamble, a bespoke event design company, and also designs and delivers arts and crafts workshops to senior citizens in Abrantes, Portugal.
Passionate about creating and developing brands; loves chocolate, coffee, ice cream, and plants. Is extremely creative, has always a book around, loves traveling, and interior design.
Partner in kitaya with responsibility for Financial Direction and Reporting, and assisting the founders with Strategic Planning and Implementation. Chris was a Corporate Banker by trade, having held senior positions at NatWest, Royal Bank of Scotland, Allied Irish Bank and Santander where he was the inaugural Regional Director for the North West of England, and subsequently Santander’s National Head of Education. He is now also a freelance lecturer in Business at Chester University. He is passionate about travel, travel writing and long distance hiking, and other interests include music, golf, amateur snooker, and film.
Project and workshop leader in kitaya, Mariana is a Chilean visual artist and painter, based in North Wales.
Holds a BA in Visual Arts from The University of Chile and a Master's Degree in Fine Art from the Slade School of Fine Art (UCL).
She has worked for Chile's Ministry of Culture and Heritage, led community-based art projects, has taught at Chilean Universities, and received a number of awards for her work, including Armando Mellado Campi Award in 2008 from Chilean National Art Prize 30 and honourable mention in 2009 and 2013 (31 and 35).
Mariana loves a good chat over a cup of coffee and cake, and enjoys spending time out doors with her family and pets.
